They are mostly good for figuring out what there is to do and place activities, but I think some of the reviews are not genuine on some of the restaurants I've been to, that Tripadvisor showed me.

Love using Tripadvisor for all of my vacations overseas. Finding restaurants to go to, reviews to read and just planning the overall vacation, is very easy and helpful through the platform.
